Jayce was definitely not the type to talk about his feelings. He was good at being in denial, which meant that he would never admit to such things out loud. When he finally started talking about them, it was like he couldn't stop himself. As if he was holding onto this dirty little secret, and once he let go of it, there was no holding on anymore. A part of him wondered why he waited so long to say something. If something could have already happened if he had been honest with himself. He tried not to think about it too much, since both he and Cassie have had other things going on. When he really thought about it, all of those people they both dated or slept with, they couldn't have meant that much. Where the hell were they now? Not here, that was for sure. There were very few people he would consider that important, but she was on the very top of that list. She had been ever since he met that crying girl at the park. He didn't wait for her to respond before he started heading to her place, although he did read her last text. Ever since they talked at the club, all he had been able to think about was kissing her again. He had head people say that kissing was better with feelings, but that's not something he ever experienced before kissing Cassie. It was unlike anything he had ever experienced before. Sure, he kissed other girls, and it was always nice, but to describe kissing Cassie as nice would be a gross understatement. It was pretty much the best feeling, ever. He wondered if she felt the same way about kissing him. Now that he knew that his feelings weren't one sided, he was curious about what they were exactly. He wasn't even sure what his own were. He loved her, there was no doubt, but is this what being in love felt like? He didn't know and he wasn't willing to say unless he was sure. However, he did know that he meant everything he told her. He wanted to be with her. It wasn't new, and part of him always wanted it, he just wasn't going to put on an act anymore.
