I though this article was attention grabbing through the headline

because I thought it pertained to a previous article I blogged on my

Tumblr. Unfortunately, it was an entirely different matter but it still proved

an interesting read. The two admitted to trying to smuggle 1.5 billion

pounds worth of cocaine from Peru to Spain. They were caught and sent

to the Peru prison and have been there for a year and were sentenced

to six years and eight months. The pair were just granted prison transfer

so that they'll be bale to move closer home to Ireland and do their time.

The conditions of the prison were horrendous because they're

constantly overflowing with people., which is why the prison transfer was

initiated. 

I just love how these are the only stories you'll find about Irish people in

the UK newspapers. Yes, the girl is from Ireland but that doesn't mean

they're all drug smugglers. The papers should be focusing on the matter

that I just blogged about, welfare services. Maybe if the Irish people

weren't so strapped for cash, there wouldn't be stories like this to even

write about. They're in need and need proper funding to get themselves
