it's about the destination: the studio gang decide to spend christmas together, but an unfortunate car ride with a very grumpy ludmila threatens to ruin the jolly mood.

Ludmila looked around. ”Huh. How did you get yourself invited to this place?”

”I am old friends with the owner of the mansion,” Priscila explained and smirked. ”We’re… very good friends.”

Soon, a woman with her hair tied up in a neat bun walked up to them.

”Priscila! You look very well dressed tonight!”

”So do you! Where did you get that dress?”

”I got it as a gift for selling some of my private collection.”

Priscila pushed Ludmila forward. ”And this is my daughter!”

”Aah… Ludmila, right?”

”Yes… good evening,” Ludmila said. She crossed her arms, and wanted to avoid eye contact.

The woman chuckled. ”You’re just like my goddaughter. A bit uninterested and awkward… don’t worry, I won’t bite.”

”Is your goddaughter home?” Priscila asked.

”I hope so! I’ve been telling her we have guests!”

Right then, a blonde girl, slightly younger than Ludmila, walked down from the stairs.

”Is that her?” Priscila asked. ”She’s very pretty.”

”Thank you,” Sharon replied, as if the girl being pretty was somehow a compliment to her . "This is Ámbar. Ámbar, this is the company I told you about."

"Hello," Ámbar said, seeming as uninterested in this as Ludmila was.

"Let's go to the dining area," Sharon said. "Dinner is being served soon."

Dinner was served. Ludmila found it to be quite good.

Most of dinner, Sharon and Priscila spoke to each other. Ludmila and Ámbar were quiet, sometimes making eye contact as they ate. When they did, they simply smiled or shrugged, or gave each other this nod that basically meant ”I noticed that you noticed me”.

Both girls however, could see something was going on with Priscila and Sharon. Something that they hid from them…

The girls waited eagerly for them to reveal it. They both ate up their food rather quickly, hoping that would help speed up the reveal.

Finally, Sharon turned to a man that had just been awkwardly standing there all the time.

”Rey, could you make sure all the staff are upstairs? I’d like to discuss a private matter and I don’t want anyone hearing.”

”Of course, miss Benson.”

As he left, Sharon and Priscila turned to the girls. Priscila seemed more eager, but Ludmila thought Sharon simply was a person that didn’t show emotions so outwardly.

“This dinner is more important than what it may seem,” Sharon explained. “Me and Priscila have had this planned for a long time.”

“Me and Sharon… have a history together,” Priscila said.

“So why have we never heard of it?” Ámbar asked.

“Because we wanted to be ready before telling you,” Sharon replied.

“Tell us what?” Ludmila asked.

“We’re getting to that!” Priscila said sharply. “A few months ago, our relationship became… closer than ever. And we discussed if we wanted to take it to the next level…” She seemed to reach for Sharon’s hand. Sharon took it, which apparently made Ámbar’s eyes widen. Was she not used to Sharon holding hands with people, or what was up?

“After a lot of discussion, we realized it would be the best option for us to… go further…” Sharon said, giving a slight smile at Priscila.

“So you’re, like, are gonna work together?” Ludmila asked.

Priscila laughed. “Oh, more than that! We’re getting married!”

The room was very silent. Ámbar and Ludmila just sat and gasped. They went from looking at each other to looking back at Priscila and Sharon.

“What?” Ámbar finally let out.

“You heard her,” Priscila said. “We’re getting married!”

“But madrina, I don’t know her!”

“Why should that matter? I know her, and I’m the one marrying her. Not you.”

“Personally, I’m with Ámbar,” Ludmila said. “I don’t know any of you! I’m sure you’re fine people, but… mom, if you marry someone then I wanna know them, too!”

“That’s why we had this dinner! So we could introduce you!” Priscila explained. “Besides, you’ll get to know them as we live together.”

“We’re gonna live together?” Ámbar asked.

“Yes, that’s typically what married couples do. Me and Ludmila are gonna move in here.”

“What?!” Ludmila exclaimed. “What’s wrong with our house?”

“This one is bigger, Ludmila!”

“But…”

Priscila gave her a grin similar to what a daycare teacher would give a toddler they’re trying to calm down during a tantrum. “Ludmila, I know you have a hard time with changes. But you just need to learn that changes are gonna happen!”

Ludmila wanted to say something, but she was tongue tied.

“Ámbar has a hard time with changes, too,” Sharon assured Priscila. “She was rough last year when we got a new chef, who moved in with her family. Ámbar always clashed with their teenage daughter, apparently she couldn’t accept there was another teenager in the house, even if it was the staff’s daughter.”

“Why are you telling her this?” Ámbar asked.

“Because Priscila’s daughter is similar to you, and I want to show her she’s not alone in coping with a teenager that can’t accept changes!”

Ludmila gave Ámbar a pitiful look.

“Well,” Ámbar said, “I want to say that, I have matured and I will be more open to accept this change…”

“Good.”

“And you, Ludmila?” Priscila asked.

Ludmila sighed. “I am also more open to accepting changes now… I guess..”
