As I've mentioned before, I value the true friendships of a select few over the pseudo-friendships of many. I still stand by that. That doesn't mean, however, that I wish to be forgotten by the majority of people that I consider important enough people in my life to include in my day-to-day activities.

When I invite people to do things, it isn't because I simply want to entertain people. It's because I truly want those invited to be part of my event, and I do not ever want to leave someone out. I know how it feels, and I would never want to do that to someone. 

I don't need to be invited to everything. I don't need to always be the friend you want to be around. But I'm tired of being an after thought by most people (my select few true friends aside). I suppose if I'm forgotten about, that is something I can learn to live with (and have done so), but please allow me the courtesy of being honest with me. Please do not lie to me or try to spare my feelings.
