Printmakers Open Forum is offering two scholarships to help defray the cost of the Summer Workshop 2016. All print mediums are available: drypoint, etching on copper, monoprint, stone litho, plate litho, photolitho, silkscreen, plaster printing, gelatin printing. Most mediums up to 2 x 3 feet or more. In combination or stand alone. Scholarship consists of free board (to be shared with one other scholarship recipient), a $250 dollar remission in the total cost of the workshop to help with food and other supplies, at the recipients discretion. A refrigerator in the shop is at your disposal. Use of the kitchen in the house is also available to everyone. The cost of the workshop is $675 plus $75 for supplies = $750. Scholarship participants would pay $500 plus free board. This opportunity is open to anyone between the ages 20 to 35 with a printmaking background. Please send a 150 word (or less) narrative describing how the workshop would be beneficial to you and what you would plan to pursue. Send five jpegs of recent work along with an explanation sheet that includes Medium,Date Completed and Dimensions to: [email protected] Due date for application is April 1st at midnight. Notifications will be sent within the week . Confirmation of your acceptance is needed immediately. A $200 deposit is due on or before May 1st to insure your inclusion in the workshop. Not following the above directions forfeits your application so please read carefully.
