I used to visit a local antique store and swoon over this cabinet, never quite believing it could be mine until a friend convinced me it was not only something I loved, but something I could truly put to good use! For the good part of a year I found myself pining over this antique printer’s cabinet which resided at a nearby antique shop. Every time I visited, I would enter with a small sense of panic at the prospect of it being gone. What would I do if I could never lay eyes on that beauty again?! The texture of the dulled metal pulls against the worn, dark wood grain was so dreamy. The cabinet looked like something that came from the Slytherin common room, or the dark recesses of an age-old castle library. Back in February, I finally wised up, got my funds together, and bought it! The cabinet of all cabinets, as I like to call it, now lives in my studio, nestled amongst other antique finds and natural inspirations. I was so excited to find this turn-of-the-century Hamilton Mfg printer’s tray at the thrift shop 🙌 What a neat piece of history! (Second pic [not mine] is a complete Hamilton printers cabinet like the one this may have come from.) I can fit almost my entire crystal collection in here! 

It's finally here! It was hard to pick which side to show you of this stunning behemoth of a printing cabinet! Functional furniture at its best, this beauty is chock full of drawers and cubbies to stash away all sorts of bits! And with 500 lbs of marble on top, you know this was built to work!
