- No hugs. No affection. Nothing. For a long time. Definitely never ever ever in front of others, and slow to do it in private too. The only thing he’ll do is if he’s really happy/special occasion and will put a servo on you shoulder or the small of your back. That’s it. Otherwise you’d have to be very patient with him and initiate it first. He’ll reciprocate but he won’t be as dedicated/into it until later on in the relationship. I hope you’re patient. But after that block, he shows his affection in subtle ways. Such as staying near you more often, more willing to help you, etc.

- Very rarely are there dates, whatever time you both have away from base is when he gets frustrated or angry with the others and has to leave. Has to, or it’ll get bad. He goes off to one of the surrounding desert cliffs and punches them. There’s one that’s been eaten away, carving a hole into the side enough for one of the smaller bots to sit under. He prefers to be alone when he’s out, just to release what anger he has.

- Well until you come along with, sitting down next to him after he’s thrown his tantrum. Both just sitting in silence, not a word needing to be said. This is the moment when he realizes that he.. Likes your company. That he likes you. He only realizes because you’re the only one he’d want around during his vulnerable moments. He’s never felt more comfortable than with you. He’ll stay around you more after that.

- Once he’s dedicated, he’s more likely to talk things out before he gets angry. And will listen to you more deeply, since you help a lot just by listening he likes to reciprocate that. He’s also more comfortable with subtle affection, so it’s best for both of you.

- You’d also have to initiate actual dates, he just doesn’t think to ask? And in the beginning he’d be very awkward. He likes you, hell he loves you. He’d have to love you in order to even date you, he wouldn’t confess in the first place if it was just a crush. He’d ignore it and move on. But now’s different, he loves you and doesn’t know how to act, talk, and reciprocate anything. He gets frustrated and angry at himself, you’d have to calm him down and reassure him that he’s doing just fine. Otherwise he’d probably break up with you due to being self-conscious and thinking you’d be more deserving of someone else.

- But after all the bumps in the road, he’s the most dedicated and loyal lover you’d ever have. And even as passionate as his counter part, but privately of course. He’d lay down his life for you if he had to, even going so far as sticking up for you from the others. Which he’s trying to avoid since he has you and doesn’t want to get angered so easily. He’s just a big, cuddly, slightly intimidating, bear. A grizzly bear if you will.

Prime! Bulkhead

- He’d be much more careful than his regular self. Much more calmer and proper. Much more like a Prime basically. While his deep baritone voice would usually be more light-hearted and relaxed, his voice would be smooth and commanding. And can be slightly intimidating, due to his size and how deep his voice is. But having you makes him feel shy, like he was before becoming a prime. He loves joking around with you too, also like before.

- He still has his fear of accidentally hurting you, so just the thought of raising his voice scares him. He acts as though your glass and his voice will suddenly produce a high C, shattering you in seconds. You’ll have to remind him that you’re not glass, he can’t sing a high c, and that he’ll never hurt you. It’s almost adorable how such a big and professional commander of the Autobots is so gentle with you, if it wasn’t so annoying.

- He’s still nervous, shy, and not good with romantic feelings type. While he’s used to being vulnerable around the others, being a Prime and all he has to be there for them, he’s not good with the romantic side still. He’d awkwardly hand you flowers, since the humans said it was a custom in their romantic courting, and be as upfront with his feelings as possible. Which watching a Prime who’s huge and intimidating be so cute and adorably awkward is a reward in and of itself. He wouldn’t be able to meet your eyes unless you said yes.

- Affection is reserved for the berthroom. He has a reputation to uphold, and while the Autobots are family, he’s still the leader. He gives the best bear hugs and cuddles, it’s definitely worth the wait. He’ll even try his best to take time away from the war just long enough to give you a hug. He can’t help it, especially after a successful mission when he’s so happy and excited and he has to share it with you.

- Dates are a rarity, he’s a prime in the middle of war to reclaim his home planet while fighting his own kind over the fate of his home... He tends to get a little busy. So most of the time you two spend together is at base. Either playing lob ball, if you like that sort of thing, or checking in on the kids. Otherwise it’s spent in his berthroom, sitting with him as he works on his console. bleader of the Autobots. You’d have to busy yourself with work or anything to make him feel better. Or comfort him, telling him whatever time you can have with him is worth it, that’ll get a blush and a well deserved bear hug from the guy.
