Well I like Garth and I'm sure many people do also. And if you think being funny is all that he's for you weren't really paying attention.
Ok, maybe that last post was a little 'hate'-ish, but I did avoid tagging is as 'garth' to avoid his fans having to listen to me have my moment of rage.Â
But I really haven't seen any point to Garth that makes him as Garth a particularly special character. I can't see that he's added anything to the story that couldn't have been added by a character that wasn't so blatantly added to the show for comic relief. I can deal with him showing up every now and then for the benefit of viewers who did find him funny, but hearing that he's going to be a part of the myth arc really irks me when the niche he fills in the show is one I never thought needed filling.
As I don't see what you do, is there any chance of you explaining why you like Garth? Or why he's more than just a funny character?
