The Bachelorette Party
Aurora and Dylan’s wedding was now only a day away - and Aurora’s brilliant yet at times nuts sister Hope decided together with their mutual good friend Isabelle to throw Aurora a bachelorette party the night before the big day.
At the same time, the Humor and Hijinx festival was announced in town. This is when Hope the genius came up with her crazy idea - to make the party happen there.
*over the phone with Isabelle*
Isa: You want to what?
Hope: Ya heard me...are you in or not?
Isa: Not like I have much of a choice do I? I guess I’m in...Let’s hope this actually works out.
After the phone call, Hope got up and decided to fix her hair a bit before heading to her sister’s place.
Meanwhile, Aurora was being over-dramatic about the wedding. Dylan was trying to calm her down. Just then, her phone rang. It was Isabelle telling her to get ready to head out.
She was confused, but agreed since she needed some fresh air, and as arranged she was waiting for Isabelle down by the entrance of her building. Isabelle came, and with her Hope arrived as well.
Pretty soon the girls mingled in with the crowd and chose a side - they drank from the Jokesters’ fountain and helped them win the night.
The night was going well, the ladies were having fun competing against others from the neighborhood Aurora now lives in. She however, was still in disbelief about everything that was happening to her.
She always thought of herself as a person that would never get married, she simply always lived with the idea that she didn’t need a man in her life, but when she met Dylan all that changed.
The girls each took a picture with the bride-to-be, before sending her home to sleep and then Hope reminded her to come over in the morning because her wedding dress was in her old place. They agreed on the day she bought it that she should get ready for her wedding in her old home so that Dylan doesn’t see the dress and spoil Aurora’s surprise.
While the girls each headed home after the festival had ended, Aurora was sitting in her house feeling sick in her stomach - she couldn’t figure out whether it was because she was excited or scared of the day to come. Dylan was fast asleep, and so were the pets so Aurora decided to join them. The last thing she needed was to not be rested on her own wedding.
All in all, it was a great bachelorette party and also it gave Aurora the chance to assign the girls their roles for the wedding - Hope is her maid of honor and Isabelle became her godmother to her future children.
The End
