Now to the story: The summary :

Crown-Prince Adrien has just escaped from the more than Six years of confinement he was forced into after his mothers death. And He's really not too keen on his father sitting on his throne, ruling over his people (and doing quite the bad Job). So instead of having a calm few weeks with his aunt, as was the original plan he escapes to the nearest Town and makes contract with the revolutionary cell there. Soon he is brought before their leader, a fierce woman known only as "the Lady". Needless to say he's smitten. Luckily everyone here wants the same thing! Right? Except she keeps going on about this thing called democracy…

Well that`s one way to look at the situation i wonder what the Lady(bug) thinks...?

President ex nihilo Ladybug really only wants one thing, for her people to be free and not starving. Her People of course being everyone without a title. Unfortunately for everyone the government strongly disagrees with her "freedom and not starving" plan and brands her a traitor. Luckily she managed to gather a few like-minded people. And a few not so like-minded People, but at least they all agree on one thing. The king must go. Then the prince shows up on her door. Somewhat surprisingly he also wants to get rid of the king. There`s just one slight problem, she cant get him out of her head.

Summary:

Everyone has a wish.

Orphan Marinette wishes she weren’t a street rat, scrounging and stealing for food.

Prince Adrien wishes he had the freedom to marry who he loves…whoever that might be.

And King Gabriel, keeper of the black cat miraculous, wishes for a world where his wife never died. But he needs Marinette to retrieve the fabled ladybug miraculous from the Cave of Wonders, to make his wish come true….

Marinette gazed out at the palace, a world so foreign that it may as well be on the moon. ‘I wonder what it would be like to live there – to have servants and valets….’

‘Oh, sure. People who tell you where to go and how to dress.’

‘It’s better than here – always scraping for food and ducking the guards.’

‘You’re not free to make your own choices.’

‘Sometimes you feel so –’

‘You’re just –’

‘Trapped.’ They spoke the word in unison, as if they were somehow the same.

Marinette swallowed. That voice – it had dropped even further. Almost unable to help it, she met ‘her’ eyes above the veil and finally saw what she hadn’t allowed herself to see before. This was no girl. What on earth had sent this boy out into the marketplace in women’s clothes, hiding himself away, yet putting himself completely on show by feeding poor street urchins?

And why was he looking at her like that? Like she was…magic. No one had ever looked at her like that. And the longer she looked back, she saw pain – unhappiness – struggle – but also hope. Like whatever he’d gone through, he hadn’t yet lost his faith in people, the way she so often did.

His eyes were so green, like fresh grass springing up in the most arid climate, the promise of life where it seemed impossible. They were bright and glittering with optimism. Maybe if she looked in them long enough, she would regain some of what she’d lost.

She cleared her throat and pulled out the two remaining apples she’d stolen just before they’d run from the fruiterer’s stall, rolling one down her arm and bumping it off her elbow, into the boy’s hand. He stared at it, and then at her, as if she were a miracle.
