Here is a just a little bit of a WIP I’m working on. I”m calling it Nightmares for right now.

All Tastes are in Draft Form. Hyde loved that his room was pitch dark, it helped him sleep. Sleep was and always had been his enemy. Wether it was he because couldn't do it, stay asleep, or the nightmares that plagued him it was always a battle. Sometimes he won, but most nights he lost, and he spent a good portion of the night awake or in some state of half awake/half haunted by mistakes that would never go away. It was one of those nights, he was drifting in and out, so the pounding on his door didn’t scare him. It just really pissed him off. He rolled to his side, and read it was 3 AM. He felt a growl pull up in his chest. He pushed off his cot, threw on his sweats, wrenched the door opened and came face to face with Forman. 

“What the hell Forman? Are you drunk?”

Eric stared at his friend. God he looked bad, he had gone to hell in a hand basket the last six months. Hyde was thinner, had huge bags under his eyes, and his face looked like life had stomped all over it. Now he was going to add to it. He never imagined in his worst nightmare that he was going to have say the words that were caught in his throat. 

Hyde wasn’t fully awake enough to grasp Forman looked like he was in shock. All he saw was his friend standing like a moron in front of him speechless.

“What the FUCK FORMAN? IT’S 3AM! WHAT DO YOU WANT?”

Eric tried to push the words out, and all he got out was “Jackie”

As soon as the word Jackie hit Hyde’s ears, his reaction as always was to get pissed. If he focused on any other emotion involving her, it would drown him. 

“You woke me up for Jackie? She better be dead.” He spewed nastily.

Hyde didn’t mean the words. He was tired, he was pissed he was awake, and even thinking about her made him want to crawl into a hole and drink it all away. He watched his words fall on Eric, and his face go bone white. Worse, he pulled his eyes away from his. Whatever sleep was left in his body snapped away instantly. Hyde’s heart started to pound, and his lungs were starting to go tight. 

“Forman?” He didn’t say anything else. 

Eric, took a deep breath and continued to look away from Hyde. He didn’t want to see it. He couldn’t see it. He could watch his mom hear the news and stay standing. He could watch his dad, and not collapse, but he knew he couldn’t watch it infiltrate Hyde’s understanding. 

“There was a fire at the mansion and…..” 

He still couldn’t get it out. It was stuck. Because as much as she drove him nuts, he didn’t want it to be true.

Hyde’s temper exploded with fear, “And what? And what Forman?” He stepped forward and grabbed Forman by the shirt. He shook him, and yelled it again,

We still have another announcement to make today, but we will like to share our proof of the zine! We still may make a few adjustments but here’s a first look Hope you all are excited!
