re: the whole bones thing, in Louisiana you can't bury people because they'll float to the surface during the rainy season. & the graveyard in question is a poorer one that couldn't afford mausoleums but it was not a black cemetery. also shitty graveyard tour guides will literally stick their hands into crumbling graves to give out bones to tourists. like, this is just a running theme in New Orleans.

Fuck that salon!! I've walked out of so many places that either wanted to charge me the "women's" price for a "men's" cut, or places that at-out REFUSED to do a men's cut. Finally found a place after a YEAR of looking that will do what I want, and at the men's/short hair price. It's worth finding that place!
