The Perks of Being an Intern (?)
Currently, I am becoming an intern in one of digital marketing in Indonesia. Holborn. Yes, I have my intern in Holborn. Maybe, some of you thought that it is Multinational Corporations, but it isn’t. Holborn is a pure local company. I really enjoying my time in here though I just started and this is my third weeks. Stressed out? Yes, I believe everyone will face the same situation. Blurred out with your job description, unfamiliar environment, everything is a new thing for me when I got into Holborn. I really not used to become part of such of  kinship situation. Yes, it is weird for me. When I joined some of organization’s in university, I never feel this way.Â
What do you think of being an intern? I don’t know what to say. Finding internship is kind of hard for me. Finding what passion are you into, Finding what job is really described you, Finding your goal, Finding what you like. All of it is seems hard to me. At first, I really want to work at the chamber or ministry, but will I like it? Will I enjoy being an intern in that place? What people will I meet with? This kind of questions always come to my mind when talked about Internship.Â
I am the type of person who always feel anxious or worried with what will I faced. At first, I questioned myself, will I enjoy having my internship at Holborn? Will I get along well? What kind of job will I get? All of the questions always comes up and just makes me more worried about everything.
But the thing is now I enjoy being part of Holborn, even though it is just small and new company but the atmosphere, environment, co-workers makes me just feel like this is could be my second home. Yes, all of the new things will make you feel anxious. Yes, you will need times until you get to used it, until you could adapt with the situation. Even though sometimes the thing is out of your expectations, but somehow I still believed that internship could be fun also, like what I feel at Holborn.Â
