Happy New Year everyone!

We kick off 2019 with exciting announcements for our Perfect Score musicians and music producers, who will be delivering the project’s Press Start music-making sessions.

We’re pleased to share that the first Press Start session will be on Wednesday 16th January at 7pm to 9pm, and will be hosted by Leicester music legend Naji Wavey.  Naji is a hip-hop producer and expert in music production who has been DJing & producing music for over 30 years.  His talent and strong work ethic has taken him around the world working with an array of artists.

Furthermore, on Thursday 17th January at 7pm to 9pm we are excited to welcome visiting artist Alex Young, A.K.A. Motormouf!

Motormouf has funked up everywhere, supporting the likes of Sugarhill gang, Beardyman, Akala and many more!  He comes armed with a hip-hop style, loop pedal, microphone, quick fire lyrics and beatbox vocals - darned good he is, too!  We can’t wait to welcome him to Leicester.

But wait, there’s more!  We are looking forward to working with another newcomer to the Perfect Score team - composer and multi instrumentalist Rob Heslop.  Rob’s recent projects include filming a documentary of UK Rapper LunarC’s Dirtbrain Tour, and composing the original soundtrack to the Richard III Reveal of the Tomb ceremony held in Leicester Cathedral.

Last but not certainly not least - we are welcoming back the multi-talented Tyler Clacey, DJ and Producer.  Tyler started producing at the age of 18, and has had airplay on Radio 1Xtra, Kiss FM, and Rinse and releases with Sony Music.

With all this musical talent at our fingertips we’re looking forward to hearing some great new music from all our Press Start musicians and producers!
