This will be a rather long post, but I feel like sharing some of the aspirations I have for the upcoming school year.
First of all, I want to take more time to rest in order to prevent burnout. I like to stay busy, but sometimes it catches up with me and I find myself burning out on all the things I have to do.
I would like to spent more time in the Bible and lean on the Lord, not just when I’m doing well but when I’m struggling too.
I want to spend more time reading for fun in the evenings after school and use it as a tool for relaxation and fun.
Lastly, I want to take all the struggles I face day by day and see them as a learning opportunity for the future. There will be difficult things to face in life, but I want to train my mind to focus more on the little blessings rather than the few bad things.
Fall Preparations
This is going to be another quick one this morning, friends! It’s already in the 40’s here in Minnesota. Oofta. Summer is truly simmering down and that has got me SO excited for what’s coming up! I’ve started to get involved a lot more in my local art community recently and I am currently working on setting up some events and collaborations for this fall season.

But I know this isn’t about me being ready. This is not about me being in control or defining what is good for myself or for my family. This is about you and finding joy and contentment in your steadfast love. Your steadfast love even in challenge. Your steadfast love that always draws me in and always seeks my good and always pushes me toward Jesus.
Father, forgive my unbelief. Thank you for an immense summer. Thank you for controlling all things. And thank you that, in you, this autumn and winter will be good no matter what. I trust you in your gospel more than myself.

I want to go camping. But I have none of the supplies.
Id need the tarp and tent and sleeping bags and probably pads to go under them.. and the lil grill and cookware. *sigh* Fucking $800camping trip itd be.. probably $1000 camping trip when we buy the weed!
