This is National Preparedness Month. When disasters strike hopefully you have a plan that keeps you out of the long lines at the grocery stores, hardware stores, gas stations or stuck in traffic trying to evacuate. Having enough food, water and supplies for a minimum of fifteen to thirty days will get you through most situations. Being aware of weather condition can prepare you for a storm, tornado, flooding or hurricane. Being prepared for the unexpected like an earthquake, civil unrest or freak of nature storm events affords you the opportunity to be better off than most. Having CPR/First Aid training to keep someone stable until first responders can arrive you you decide to drive out of the affected area increasing your odds of being seen by a doctor at a hospital out of the affected zone. Always have at least half a tank in your vehicle. Most vehicles will get you out of the affected area if you act quickly and bug out. Plan your bug out bags to the region youβre in, the weather expected and have a copy of all documents, records and pictures of sentimental value on flash drives. Iβll be covering preparation tips over the month. I tagged some of my go to sources for food and training. Look online for sources, Iβll even help if you need it. #nationalpreparednessmonth #haveaplan #preparednessmonth #prepper #tornado #hurricane #prepping #preparedness #twd #fire #forestfire #naturaldisaster #shtf #naturaldisasters #bugout #earthquake #bugoutbag #tropicalstorm #bushcraftandprepping #flooding #oldtrapper #otambassador #mhambsdr https://www.instagram.com/p/CE5LceMJ0tW/?igshid=p6hux4e0exh5
