for the ask game-- O and A (but like in general, how do you come up with titles? I'm so fuckin bad at it and I don't know how anyone does it)
O: do u begin a story with the plot or the characters? depends! i generally will design characters for my comics long after ive got the plot fleshed out in my head. i have unfinished work from years and years ago that still didnt have the characters designed despite the entire story being written! that being said, for fanfiction of course i start with the characters. what are moony and padfoot gonna get up to in this one
A: how do you come up with titles? GREAT QUESTION. IF YOU FIGURE IT OUT PLEASE DO LET ME KNOW. generally im brainstorming titles while im writing and i take from either the story itself, like cool girls or seeds in the garden, or source material like wrath of the lamb. im trying to shy away from song lyric titles, even tho my monkey brain wants me to do them, bc i think they can be kinda tacky
