You can't lead an army out of uniform
Runway is the advent. In most cases, it's where it starts, crescendo's, and sometimes peaks.
Maybe it's just me here, but why on such a momentous occasion do the designers not give their best? Sure they may not be six foot or svelte by any standard, but they should really give a better effort, to not only look as good as their collection, but to merge with it as well. God forbid you mistake the designer for the show-closer.
The designer's the one who bows, and should be looking a hell of a lot better doing it.

Rookie x Veteran = Reaching for Relevance
Why does fashion have more collaborations than a Diddy album? Are we running out of ideas or just having difficulty catching the attention of customers?
In any case, I'm curious about the real-term numbers being produced from collaborations considering that any worthwhile venture should prompt the desire for permanency. Even my beloved Jil Sander x Uniqlo marriage was sadly as ill-fated as a reality show wedding.
Are consumer's really so disloyal to consistent brands that we need six seasons of lines? Or are our once-beloved brands just trying to cover up inconsistency by throwing in the occasional fresh face? Either way it doesn't make sense that I can all-too-easily buy shorts in January.
And don't even get me started on pop up shops.

I would like to hereby advocate a boycott on chin-straps especially.
