Day 17/30 - Make a list of the grades you’d like to achieve this year (aspirational). At the same time make a list of the grades you’d be happy to achieve this year as a minimum (reasonable) - a grade or two lower in each subject say. Finally make a list of the grades that you think you are likely to get this year (predictions). Over time, try to realise that you can still do well without hitting your aspirational grades - and you don’t need to get perfect grades to be successful!

How did you do in your ELAT, predicted grades and A-Levels? Love your blog!
I can't remember by ELAT score but I was in the top band😊 My predicted A level grades were 3 A*s I think and I came out with A*AA (despite my mental health problems playing up p badly throughout - will always be super proud of those grades as a result !!)😊 And thank you so much - I'm glad you like it! If you have any post requests, let me know!!xxxx

What are predicted grades?
Predicted grades are the grades your teacher predicts you will get in your exams💖They give you something to work towards (altho tbh they can be wrong and I've always just put 100% effort in rather than aiming for a specific grade so to speak, but each to their own!), and give unis/sixth forms (but mainly unis) an idea of the level you're performing at when deciding to give you an offer😊
Hi I'm going into year 13 and was just wondering how important predicted grades are.
Hi honey! Good luck with Year 13!!I'd say predicted grades matter in terms of giving Ox the certainty that you're gonna meet the course grade requirements should you get an offer. As long as they meet those, you're all good - any predicted grades above that requirement are a bonus! Xxxx
25th June 2018 Not a good mental health day again but got my predicted grade for English Literature and I'm ecstatic for the future!!!
