Tusikám. Bandinak nem tudtam írni innét, majd hazulról. Jól vagyok, jelenleg 500 km vagyok Haifától a Vörös-tenger partján. 35 f. meleg van, sokat fürödtem már. 5-10 között jövök haza. Bokor válasszon Magának a túloldaliakból és elviszem. Téged Gyurit és mindenkit csókolok. [...]

Hello! Just wanted to know what the Oxford aptitude test looks like? Also do Americans have to do any other special test?
Hi! It depends on the subject my dear! Take a look at this: https://www.ox.ac.uk/admissions/undergraduate/applying-to-oxford/tests?wssl=1
If you want to know more about the English Admissions test, search the tag ‘ELAT’ on my blog:)
As far as I’m aware, Americans don’t have to do any other special test but I could be wrong on that.
Best of luck!xx

As someone who did quite well in the ELAT can I suggest reading the sample answers and annotating them in depth as a suggestion? It really illuminates the mark scheme for me. The ELAT, at least from what I can work out, is about clarity, control, a precise structure and never drifting from your argument. A lot of people think it's about fancy techniques or 'getting deep'. I'd advise against that and always prioritising a simple, clear, well structured argument
Thank you! This is really helpful.
I've got my Oxford entrance exam in exactly 3 hours so of course I'm listening to the new Taylor Swift songs to remind me what a boss ass bitch I am
