Why Was the Pre-quel to Star Wars Not as Well like as the Original?
This question has always been on my mind. I mean for someone who is about to turn 20 I wasn’t even a twinkle in my dad’s eye when the original trilogy came out in the 70′s. I was however able to see the last of the pre-quels when I was a kid. I heard a lot of the older generation say that star wars was ruined by the movies coming out. I never understood why. I mean I like the movies when Darth Vader put his ask on for the first time when Padme gave birth to both Luke and Leia. To me at the age of 9 this was great. I grew up on star wars and it all amazed me. It wasn’t until recently with the new star wars coming out that I wanted to know the answer to this question. From everything I read and saw it came down to a great fight between light and dark. Emotional scenes and plot twist that no one saw coming. With a villain that was mysterious and all that they knew was that he was scary powerful and was Luke’s father. All of this is what the original trilogy brought to the world. I think the reason the pre-quels sucked was because when they created the star wars pre-quels they took what made the originals great by giving this evil and mysterious figure and taking away all that made him a feared villain. Oh and then added JarJar. I would like to know what you think and if you can answer the question for me if you can.
BEFORE WATCHMEN - Dc Comics
Captain America : Was this MOSTLY just set up for the Avengers?
Captain America...was certainly American...they did a really good job of casting. The mise-en scene was really dark and noir, but at the same time the film did a great job of framing a tragic super hero story. I get that he's the "first avenger". But I don't get that he dosn't have a seperate/ resolved/ developed character arch.
I guess what I was most disappointed in was that the main purpose of this film was very clearly to set up The Avengers and not to establish Captain America as a real human character. I feel like The Hulk, Iron Man and Thor all had their own films that just happened to end in an invite to the avengers, but Captain America was embedded in the Avengers world from the beginning. They tried to start the story arch of the Avengers in Captain America's movie!!
Already there were elements of Iron Man and Thor wrapped up in Captain America's world. Maybe this is part of the comics...but I think either way that Captain America just deserved better than that. I mean they skipped his whole power struggle bit, and just focused on him being the "little guy" for a while. His personality never went through any changes or anything!
Pre-quels are fine, in fact I love Star Wars Episode I, I think it did a great job of building things up and having it's own story line. This didn't it was all build up and the climax was wimpy.
Can't wait till the Avengers though!! Joss Whedon is a boss!

Everything was great, Everything was going perfect. That is until it happened. I don't know what I can do now, I need help but I'm to proud to admit it. They are all happy and with someone, but what is this tug at the pit of my stomach, it makes me want to barf. Somethings gonna happen, and all I can say is Walk Away I'm Okay. God, If there is anyway you can help me, help me open up, help me believe again. Bring me someone that can open it back up. If only this would work.... I'm NOTokay, so DON'T walk away. please help me find someone to help me
I was the misfit growing up, why? because I was the only one in my class without her mommy and daddy wrapped around her finger. How is that possible? Well lets just say my mother didn't want me, so she didn't even tell her boyfriend, who was my father, hey I'm pregnant don't go on tour yet. Yeah that didn't happen so I was dumped on my grandparents doorstep and my mom took off, I don't know where never really cared to be honest, perhaps she's in Guam, or Africa, or Mexico, who the hell knows. My dad, he was out touring god knows where, he didn't hear about it till he got home, my mom up and left, and my grandparents didn't even tell him about me thinking he was just wasting his life being a rockstar and he would never amount to anything. Well he sure put them out, when his band became international rockstars. So me having my grandparents as parents screwed me over, I have authority issues like majorly bad. I'm addicted to piercings and tattoos. Already and guess what I'm only 17. Fun right? Not really. Oh by the way, Names JoJo or Jordan Lay Connors, or as it is on my birth certificate Jordan Lyric Haner.

James Franco has become so overwhelmed with his own rumored and announced projects that he held a press conference about co-hosting the Oscars in costume as the Wizard of Oz and in character as Jack Tripper from Three's Company. It is a confusing time for James Franco.
