"Honestly, here I was thinkin', wow, Maks you've really out done yourself here," He looked up from his phone with a raise of his brow. "Apparently I'm wearing a wedding dress." using his hand to fan it out, he snorted. "Fuckin' hell."

Emine came with one thing on her mind to have Kerem regret his decision. It was the distraction she needed from the current state of her life.

She plucks a glass of champagne off a tray as a waiter passes. "The goal tonight is to win one of my categories." There was one she wanted the most. "I require free drinks all night." She glances to the person beside her.

It was that age old gnawing anxiety that had her in it's grasp, like a sinking ship, she might as well have been drowning. Placing one foot in front of the other, a rawness in those honeyed eyes as she took each flash of camera as slap to her face, still, she pushed on that forced smile. It never truly went away, and even as she stood there, she felt this saddening coldness on her skin. Berat.

"Tonight is going to be an utter disaster and I'm here for it." Some of the categories and those in it, certain winners could lead to fights. "Now to find myself a drink."

This was the last place Ayda wanted to be. She came to support Kerem and to be able to keep an eye on Emine. Her brother was here too.

It felt wrong being here.

A smile plastered on her face, she turns to the person beside her. "Do you think the St. Clair's will win again?" Part of her hoped they would.

"Well, don't you look divine? You know it's a competition, right. Everyone here's just waiting for the chance to show another up." Melissa's head tilted to the side. "I got flour flashbacks earlier this evening when I was powdering my nose," Melissa confessed with an unabashed grin, sliding into the seat next to Cece. She scrutinized each passerby with a quick once-over before focusing on the blonde. "Do you reckon Chef will ever allow us back in his kitchen?" Melissa doubted it.

Sipping on some water, Aria had found a spot that let her watch everyone come in from the red carpet. People watching was a lot less intimidating than being in front of the cameras and she had been enjoying watching all of the outfits come in, especially since Frankie was off talking to some of the fellow Sovrani - for business or pleasure she wasn’t going to ask. “Everyone looks so amazing,” Aria smiled as someone walked towards her, “Which if you want to people watch, I think this is the best spot. Far enough away that you’re not in the way, but still get a full view of everyone coming in. You can feel free to join me if you’d like.” 

“Dating a Berkeley can surely catapult someone from being a help to a hostress, but who did the resident have to sleep with to earn the honours? One of the Rutherfords, perhaps?” An inspired remark, after noticing the hostesses for the evening, and being even less impressed by the caliber of the Award show.
