The Great Swing
In the running was a big band piece called "Sing, Sing, Sing", written by Louis Prima in 1935. It comes across as a great musical piece because of the time it was written in, right in the midst of the Great Depression.
I could imagine going dancing and having this song take my mind off my troubles. Realistically, it also makes good background music while you write blog posts.
So right from 1937 (pre-dates me by fifty-seven years), "Sing, Sing, Sing", from Hotel Hollywood (1937), with Benny Goodman, Gene Krupa, Harry James, and Lionel Hampton
