summer camp 😁
me and my brothers went back to camp this past week, and i had a BLAST. there was rock climbing, and zip-lining, and reflection hour. i’ve been there 14 times now, so i’ve really gotten to know the staff, and they’re always so nice.
one thing that really surprised me though was the lack of faith in my cabin this year. the other girls were laughing at me for praying for 2 hours before bed every night, but i just told them i needed to to maintain my devotion to Helio
NOT popular. the things that were said! completely unbelievable if you ask me- you’re there to show your faith, so why aren’t you???
i talked to my priest about it, and he expressed his sympathies, but said i should keep trying. i kept asking if they wanted to join my prayer chain, but that made them laugh more. i dunno, i want to save their souls, but it’s starting to feel bad that no one else sits by themself during craft night.
still, i’m excited to go next year! my brothers are aging up from kernals, so they can come on the hikes with us! can’t wait!
