Back in 2012, when I was a part of a prayer run for water. I met the Peace and Dignity indigenous community in #SanFrancisco , joined them 2 weeks later in #LA, after handling an arrest court case in #Ashland 😂. (Missed my first of two flights to Thailand bc of this. Only bc I had a criminal offense for questioning an officer and failing to show my ID) 👻 Anyway, I joined this prayer run bc it deeply inspired the runner and Indian in me. Our offering was dedicated to water. I ran with this community from LA to the Mexican American border and my love for ancient traditions only deepened. I feel everyday, it's important to do something about #StandingRock.... Even talking to someone about this is something, joining forces with a movement, sending donations, writing a letter, educating yourself and others, something. If you're looking for a way to help, reach out to my girl @earth_to_coyote. This is a time of need and your efforts are needed and requested. These are your water rights and the rights of your loved ones. 🌊🌈 Photo taken by Larry Michel #WaterIsLife #SpreadTheWord #QuestionEverything #nodapl #runner #indigenous #PeaceActivist #CriminalPriestess #PrayerRun (at Standing Rock Sioux Tribe)
