Hey, have any of you guys taken Pramipexole? I'm currently taking it as treatment for my RLS, but I fall asleep very suddenly and am having a lot of trouble waking up since I took it. Has anyone else had the same side effects? I'm trying to decide whether the side effects are worth the sleep lol
It.Is.Six.AM. And I’m still up because I fucked up. I just filled my prescription for Pramipexole last month and so I’m supposed to be covered for three months. Except that when I went to the pharmacy they were out of the exact medication I needed. They were out of Sifrol, Pramipexole Orion, Pramigen... All of it. They only had one package left. Enough for one month. But they had more coming the next day and I could make a deal of paying for the three months that I originally wanted, taking that one package (one month) with me, and then coming back the next day to get the rest. And yeah, okay, sounds good, let’s do that!
And then I forgot. I completely forgot. I never picked them up. I just remembered that I paid for three months so I expected to have two more packages here when the first one ran out. But I never actually picked them up. I completely forgot about it all. So now my one month package ran out and I don’t have a new one and my legs have a life of their own, just twitching and spasming all around.
Yep. I did done goofed.
so I was prescribed a med that is supposed to help with my suspected restless leg syndrome and ultimately improve my sleep.
but instead I was kept up all night with tremors, muscle spasms, and full body shaking.
I'm experiencing half of the unlikely but serious side effects and half the rare but very serious side effects.
I feel really disoriented and scared.
Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) - The Patient's Perspective
“You know more about this than I do.”A neurologist made this comment at the end of my second visit in 1994. My immediate internal reaction was, “If that is the case, I need another neurologist!”But such was the lack of knowledge of restless legs syndrome (RLS) at that time. The awareness of prim... Restless Legs Syndrome as a Neurological Conodrum
Restless legs syndrome (RLS) is among the most common neurological conditions affecting the general population. A number of epidemiological studies in Europe and North America have yielded consistent findings of RLS prevalence ranging between 5% and 10%, and rising to around 10% in the...
