HOW TO GET TO PIKES PEAK ZINE FEST 2024
🚙 DRIVING🚙 🔸Use “Kraemer Family Library, 1420 Austin Bluffs Parkway, Colorado Springs” as the destination point.
🔹Coming off of I-25, take the Garden of the Gods Rd. exit going East which will turn into Austin Bluffs Parkway. 🔸Nevada Ave., North Union Blvd., & North Academy Blvd., which run North/South, all intersect with Austin Bluffs. 🔹From Powers, you can take Barnes Rd. or Stetson Hills Blvd. West to Austin Bluffs.
🔸Turn into the UCCS Central Campus at the entrance with the traffic light stop across from Meadow Ln.
🔹Take Regent Circle to the lots 222 & 224 which should be the third turn off of the round-about.
🔸Parking is free on Saturdays.
🚌 BUS 🚌 🔹You can take Colorado Springs public transportation bus routes 9 or 34 to get to UCCS.
🔸Route 9 from downtown ends right in front of University Center.
📓📘📙FINDING BERGER HALL📙📘📓 🔹Look for the “Olympians and Paralympians Among Us” sculpture which will be right between the two parking lots, to help orient yourself. 🔸Enter the glass entrance for University Center (to the left of the sculpture if your back is to the parking lots).
🔹Just inside, you can either go up the stairs directly in front of the entrance, or take the elevator to the 2nd floor (to the left of the stairs & right of the lobby info desk).
🔸🔸On the 2nd floor (to the left is the Kraemer Family Library), go down the hall to the right past the coffee shop. The library will be open to the public as a quiet space or to check out their *NEW* Zine Collections curated by PPZF's Co-orginzer, Liz Brown! 🔹At the end of the hall is a ramp and a short staircase to the entrance of Berger Hall! 😷 Masks are not required, but are HIGHLY ENCOURAGED! We will also have free masks & hand sanitizer available at the door to the event space.
