In the future, will the game have extra content (side-stories or smt like that) that are full on NSFW? Maybe as a paid DLC?

I would not mind paying to fully see my Vesper's getting her hands on Oleander 🙂‍↕️

Looks like we last tackled this question about a year ago, so let's return to it!

We've been saying that DLC of any flavour would be cool to do, but we don't have any specific plans regarding it right now. There have been things on that "would be nice" list that have moved to active production, like having the NPC silhouettes filled in. But we're basically at the wrong stage of development to evaluate whether DLC should also be moved into production, so I'm sorry to say that I still don't have a definite answer.

I think we'll probably make that decision pretty soon after 1.0 comes out—that is, when everyone's third chapter is finished and released. It'll really depend on two things: how we're feeling at the end of production, and how much excitement there is around Obscura at the time. If we're all burned out and need time away from the characters and setting, then we'll probably put Obscura on the back burner and let it simmer. There's no reason we couldn't do a mid-sized fandisk later on, if the enthusiasm is there. And if enthusiasm is low, then we'll need to think really hard about if we want to invest time/energy/money into something only a small group of people are going to enjoy.

There's also the spectre of the visa/mastercard menace on the horizon, but we're reasonably sure we have workarounds for that, at least if the current status quo holds.

Hey everyone! I’m Claire (aka @unforth , aka Nina Waters) and I wanted to let you all know that I am having surgery on July 1st. It’s a good thing, and it’s surgery I both need and want – while it is because a health issue was found, it’s also gender-affirming for me.

As a result of this surgery, I will not be working at all on July 1st or 2nd, and I will be working as little as possible through July 7th. I expect to then be on a light schedule to the extent possible (which isn’t a very big extent, as I will be attending Readercon in Massachusetts from the 9th to the 12th).

During this time, I would appreciate everyone’s patience, as I will be much slower to reply to communication, delayed on fulfilling physical orders from our webstore, and generally much less available than I usually am.

Your admins are @cassandra41924 @evxrbee @almightypandora and @saxaltofan! We are all so excited to get us this project off the ground and running, and it all depends on your interest!

This community is all so so talented and we are ever grateful to every artist, writer, and maker for sharing their talent with the community and letting us see what they create.

We are also so grateful to Apokuna and Cherrifire for creating, telling and sharing the stories that they do, allowing us as a community to be able to create projects inspired by theirs.

Our rough draft of a timeline would be to have organization (applications/emails/ect) from June to late July, creation to from late July to early October and the finished product to come out around November/December.

This is our first interest check, and from this information we'd be able to put together a specific schedule based on approximately how many people respond. The form will run for 1 week, responses will not be accepted after June 4th, 2026.

I also want to thank @cadence-the-hypnotic-floret for helping us get here by giving us a little nudge when we needed it.

Red: Wings (they extend very far down her back- it is not a single point of attachment, but a plane). She does want me to note that this would require some way to handle clothing, however, and that her second choice is a near-tie between tail and horns. Horns seem to be slightly higher preference than tail, but I have seen that fluctuate before.

Blue: Tail. Instant choice, and has been consistent on it for years.

Echo: Doll joints or similar is my practical answer; some form of seam that makes my body more inorganic. That said, my actual answer would be to remove my face and leave the area smooth (mouth hole permissible, but no nose or eyes) provided that I had accomodations and/or a replacement for eye vision. I do not want to have a face.

Hawthorne: Claws. I expected tail or ears, so this is a surprise to me. If I am understanding them correctly, it is specifically retractable claws on hands and non-retractable on feet. If they are allowed to push the bounds of the question, they would also alter the way our body stands to be somewhere between true digitigrade and plantigrade, but they are locking claws in as their final answer.
