21.09.2021 I have started my last term of classes for my undergraduate degree! I have finished my thesis with High Distinction, landed my first job as a structural engineer at a dream company, and called with my manager for the first time today. My final two subjects are electives where I’ll be learning earthquake design and more about climate change, and I’m very lucky to be taught by some of the best lecturers I’ve had to date! But I’ve also been in lockdown due to the COVID-19 cases where I live since June, and dealt with other not so fun things personally. Here’s hoping my last subjects at uni go well 🤞

14/06/2021 I don’t know how uni got so busy so quickly!! Yesterday was a very productive day, and hopefully today will be too - there’s just so much due at the moment. I’m lucky that my electives are so interesting, though!

13/10/21 Enjoying my last term as a student before I start full time work! I feel quite motivated to try to make the most of the next few weeks of uni, but still celebrate leaving lockdown

29/03/2021 You know that time in the term where you’ve been given a months worth of work to do in around a week and you’re beginning to lose your mind? For real though, look after your mental health everyone 💕

06/12/21 Posting this late, but I’ve finished my last undergrad uni exam!! It still hasn’t quite sunk in yet, but I am enjoying making the most of my new-found free time, visiting friends and doing the things I’ve put off so I could study more (like indoor rock climbing and star gazing). I will still technically be a student for a little while though, as my first few months of full time work will count as an “internship” in my uni’s eyes while my graduation is formalised (Bring on the student discounts!)

I finished my last exam today! Here’s hoping I’ve done well 🤞
