The obligitory first post
This is the third time I've broken a promise to myself within the past year. A promise made half a decade ago where I told myself that I would never create a blog.
The first time was when I made my very first blog dedicated to stupid random crap I encounter in life and on the internet, which lasted for about a few weeks. The second instance was when I created a blog dedicated to stupid random crap I encounter in life and on the internet. That one, well, it only lasted for roughly a day because I found better things to waste my time with during the recent fall semester. It was pretty worth it, in my opinion.
Now here we are for a third time and if you have any basic cognitive skills you can probably gather that this blog will be dedicated to stupid random crap I encounter in life and on the internet. Thrilling right? Well, I certainly hope so. How long will this one last depends on how overloaded with work and schoolwork I become. I'm hoping that the ease of tumblr will help me update this semi-regularly and seeing how much I love to procrastinate with said schoolwork I'm thinking I'll have the time to throw stuff on here for you, my loving fans.
So what can you expect to see on PP? *giggles immaturely*
I already have a good amount of post ideas in the works, including a top-10 countdown of athletes with too much eye-black (that might be for a very specific niche, I know). I am also planning to bring back You're Dumb Internet Commenter of the Day, a feature where I scour the vast internets for people voicing opinions that should otherwise be left alone, or buried under a few metric tons of solid concrete. Once I find them I will become more of an asshole than usual and make them regret the day they ever hit the reply button. Add in all of the usual reactions to daily events, rants about sports and other miscellany that I come across and I believe I'll have something that everyone can enjoy and relate to. Whatever that means.
Are you bored yet? Me too. I hate introductory posts, so I'm just going to force more worthless information down your eyeballs with a bunch of short, unthoughtful sentences. My name is Chris. I'm a junior in college. I'm going for a writing/web design hybrid thing. I think, I'm still unsure of what I want to do. I like camping, hiking, sports, photography, movies, videogames, design and typography, MUSIC, writing and usually anything else I come across. I also like cereal. Like a lot. Expect too many posts devoted to my insane infatuation with cereal. And other stuff.
Welcome to procrastination perfected. The only place where my often incoherent thoughts can be marginally organized into a nice, neat column.
