Fun Dip A very belated birthday gift for @maukree

“Come on, fun dip,” Bucky snorts. “Think you’re gonna be pleasantly surprised,” Peter rolls his eyes but follows him. “You ever gonna stop calling me that?” “When you stop eating the things, I will,” “Fun Dip is good!” he huffs grumpily. “Peter, that shit wasn’t even good-” “-in the forties, I know,” he finishes. Peter's birthday is supposed to be a day of celebration with the team, but the bad guys don't get the memo. It looks like he's going to be spending his twenty-first alone, counting down the minutes until he gets his soulmark- the first words his soulmate ever said or will say to him. But when he finds that Bucky is still hanging around the compound, it looks like his lackluster day might end up being special after all.

Peter came home to the smell of something burnt and the sounds of Aunt May cursing. He rounded the corner into the kitchen and discovered a disaster.

“What??”

“Oh! Peter, hi,” May looked caughtguiltydefeated. “I was trying to make you a birthday cake.”

They stared at each other for a minute, glanced at the mess, and then back to each other before they both burst into giggles.

Tony takes Peter on a lavish Italian vacation for his birthday and proposes. Of course, Peter says “yes!”

It was easy to convince Tony that they should just go out for Peter’s birthday breakfast when the plate of burnt pancakes sat incriminatingly on the counter between them.

Steve had to be away for Peter’s birthday, meetings with the UN in Europe were non-negotiable. Peter understood, he did, but it didn’t make not getting to see his boyfriend on his birthday any easier. But, always the thoughtful one, Steve set some time aside in the afternoon to be able to facetime Peter when he got back from patrol. He also arranged for a delivery of all of Peter’s favorite foods (including a #5 from Delmar’s, with extra pickles and smooshed flat), and a mini personal sized Spider-Man cake.
