Saturday, December 10,2022, Lansingburgh presented their first ever Christmas parade. The parade started from Corliss Park, traveled through Northern Ave and 5th Avenue, and ended at Power’s Park. Power’s Park featured free hot cocoa, candy canes, and donuts, meet and greet with Santa Claus, two kids’ bike raffles, caroling, and the lighting of the Power’s Park Christmas trees. Christmas ornaments honoring family members & friends who have passed we’re hung on the artificial tree. It was so nice attending this special event that united people in the community together to celebrate the holiday and bring a moment of peace and City pride!! Thank you Councilman Jim Guilli for inviting me to come & cover the event!! So much fun & I look forward to better things to come!! Well done everyone!! (📸 Photos taken by Amy L.
