i understand that it’s hard finding your dreamies online and most acnl delivery sites are on hiatus or closed down. so that’s why i created this 100% acnl delivery site for everyone!

is there ever a possibility of getting banned for trading out cloned pokemon? i want to send out some duplicates of my own but im afraid of what might happen.
It depends on what you use to clone the Pokemon. Basically, if you use a cloning/hacking program that affects your 3DS (Homebrew and its programs for example) then there’s a good chance you’re gonna get internet-banned when Nintendo decides to wipe out some hackers. Nintendo really has a thing against modifying their consoles (which I would too if was them).
If you’re wanting to clone some mons, I suggest getting what I use: a Powersave Pro. It’s kinda like a present-day 3DS Gameshark that plugs into your computer. You can find them at Gamestops, Walmarts, etc. A Powersave Pro doesn’t affect the 3DS because it only modifies the game cartridge with the codes you want to use on it. The only issue is that a Powerave will set you back about $20.

Is Powersave easy to use? I was thinking about getting one (probably just for myself though, I don't have enough free time for a giveaway blog unfortunately) but I don't want to spend $20 if it's going to be horrifically difficult for me to figure out. Thank you!
Yes, it’s pretty easy to use. I was a bit overwhelmed at first because I was afraid of ruining my game but all of the codes are easy to understand since they are all labeled. For instance, one of the codes to clone Pokemon says “Clone from Box 1 slot 1 to Box 2 slot 2.” It’s really straight forward and if there is a code that’s a bit complicated, then they usually have a note to go with it that explains what that specific code does.
The only thing they don’t tell yah is that you should set up your Powersave to always back-up your game before a code is ran.
Question
I want to mess around with the powersave I got a few years ago with yokai watch 1. The problem is that it only seems to work the 1st save file and that's not the one I want to use it on. On the second game there's option to add to any of the 3 save files.
I'm just wondering if there's anything I could do. I really just want to mess around for a bit but I don't want to do anything to file 1 because that's my childhood save.
