What does each of Hawke's ships bring to the table? How do they change her? Is it for the better or worse?

Varric - He makes her feel more normal. He makes her laugh and smile and he knows her better than herself most likely. She honestly has no idea how they ended up together. As far as she's concerned, she bumbled into this relationship like the derp she is. She's more relaxed in this relationship, more likely to show Kaitlyn rather than Hawke or the Champion. It's definitely a change for the better. He's protective of her and that's something that Kaitlyn needs because she'll bleed herself dry for others.
Anders - He's probably her other half when it comes to mage rights. He makes her more impassioned about the cause, if that's even possible. She always was, truthfully, but having someone confirm your own ideals bolsters them. She might become more idealistic as well, thinking they can change the world and live a happy life together. When they're together privately, she learns to let her mask down quicker around him. He understands her worries and fears because they're his own. He also knows how to cheer her up in these moments. The relationship on a whole is good for her and probably the only bad thing would be one, or both of them, dying for the mages' cause.
Cassandra - We haven't done as much yet so this will be more my speculations. These two have an interesting dynamic going on because both are very strong willed and a little awkward. They're at odds when it comes to the chantry, as one believes and the other doesnt, but I don't think that'll be too much of a problem. I think Cassandra will have a grounding effect on Kaitlyn, make her realize that she can't do everything and she's not expected to, despite Kait's beliefs that she is. Cassandra has suffered her own failures and can relate to Kait on this. And of course, they're both really awkward when it comes to romance but this is something they can explore together at least. Overall it's a good relationship I think because they can relate to each other so well, the only issue is how strong willed both of them can be about certain issues.
