so the afk mc was an expert of artifact retrival right? Who's to say she was not taking not so legal jobs here and there - which is practically potv mc's job 'treasure hunting' ~ then they say at one point Odin closed down Bifröst so people (gods?) cant go through to earth/midgard, the reason will b explanied in PotV but for my reasoning im putting it as 'the Norse pantheon not being down with H.E.R.A regulations (or maybe at least dont just name it after yourselves??? those selfish Olympians...) and simply being like... ok imma head out'
Im also furthering this by placing the mc s arrival at Asgard right after the very start of Astraeus route so she s like... Saved in a way. It s an alternative to the route. Also the reason she s not at all distressed abt not being able to go back. She does not want to go back. Hell a war waits if she does go back. Would the titans still be able to defeat the gods? I think not. I think both sides would blame the other if the mc disappeared. The worst case is Astraeus decides storming Olympus himself for the mc and dies :(
