Orchid pots. No rules. I just let the creativity fly. Except, there is a rule. They need to fit in my 9 inch tall kiln. But clay shrinks as it dries, and shrinks some more in the bisque (first firing.) since my kiln is 14 inches wide, I was able to bisque this piece on its side. No problem. For the glaze fire it needs to be upright, but the bisque shrank it just enough. It fit upright with barely a quarter inch to spare.
