So how is your growing of Bible Hyssop going?
Oh, my seemingly eternal [hyssop] woes. A while ago, I actually did purchase some potted origanum maru (origanum syriacum) - a.k.a., Wild Zaatar (not to be confused with the spice blend), Syrian Oregano, Syrian Majorum, and Biblical Hyssop.
The plants I had were young, so I wanted to give them a year or so to develop more. Unfortunately, I moved in that time frame, and about half of our potted plants were ruined after the movers we hired dropped a heavy piece of furniture on them while attempting to unload it :|
We tried to save the plants, and while we did manage to save a few, the biblical-hyssop was one of the ones that died from the shock (that’s my best guess, at least). I haven’t replaced it yet because of other chaos swirling around me right now, but I fully expect to soon.
Thanks for inquiring about it though! :)
