People who come to my comments trying to tell me that Tentoo isn't Ten, but he is?! Tentoo is the continuation of Nine and Ten (and all the Doctors who came before him). He's a full-fledged regeneration of the Doctor (like Eleven, Twelve, etc., etc., etc.)! But a human regeneration. Literally, he is the Doctor. The characters in the show called him the Doctor, and RTD himself called him the Doctor! HE IS THE DOCTOR! He's not a different person. If you think that, you are the one who don't understand the show.
"Turning of the Tide" isn't canon, simply because the DW Extended Universe comics aren't canon, but the Big Finish audios are canon. And "Turning of the Tide" doesn't correspond to the Big Finish audios or even to what RTD see and written in the show. You're the one who doesn't understand the Ninerose and Tenrose relationship to come and tell me that seeing the Metacrisis Doctor as the Doctor instead of a different man diminishes the impact of the Tenrose relationship and its ending. Why are you even here? Under my post?! A post that simply talked about what I imagined Tentoo & Rose's first night to be like?! I can just picture Rose and Tentoo on their first night together, talking about everything that happened during Journey's End.
Rose telling Tentoo all the last moments she shared with Ten. Especially the part with Davros about what he told the Doctor.
Tentoo talking about how much he missed Rose, how he literally wanted to die without her. Explaining the situation with Donna. The situation with his other self, what will become of him, etc.
Because he's the Doctor, of course he knows how the regeneration will affect Ten. He is him.
And then, at the end, they fall asleep together, exhausted, cuddled up close.
I think the only topic Tentoo wouldn't have discussed with Rose this night is the River situation. At least not right away.
