#potion polish

Today's manicure is for St. Patrick's Day! 🍀🌈🍀 I've been saving this one for a while now and was so happy to finally get it on my nails. It's was a mystery polish so no official description but it looks like it has a copper to green to blue shifting base with green (and maybe silver?) reflective glitter. It had a thick formula but was opaque in two coats and twinkled in the sun like nobody's business. I wanted something a little extra so I used some metallic stamping polishes to freehand a rainbow on my ring finger. This is In My Lucky Era from Potion Polish.

Today's polish has that combination I can never get enough of: a sheer cool-toned base with a warm-toned shifty shimmer. When done right you can see every color in the rainbow shift around on your nails. 😍 In this case, it's a blue-green jelly base with a pink to gold to green shimmer and holo flakes. It had a wonderful formula too, reaching opacity in two coats. This is Across Time from Potion Polish.

Today's polish is just about as sparkly as they come! ✨🤩✨ And I needed something extra sparkly to celebrate ‼️700‼️ posts!!! 😱😱😱🥳🥳🥳 I have no official description for this one but from what I can see it has a pale orange shimmer base that is absolutely packed with pink reflective glitter. What you are seeing in these pictures is only a fraction of the sparkle I saw IRL. My only complaint about this one is that it needed a glitter smoothing topcoat and TWO coats of quick dry top coat to get it smooth. And even then it still had a tiny bit of texture to it. 👀 I think it's worth it for that sparkle though. 🤩🤩🤩 This is Cotton Candy Sky from Potion Polish.

Today's polish was interesting but I'm not sure that I like it. It has a green jelly base with a purple to yellow shifting shimmer and green reflective glitter. The base color is actually quite bright, but when the shimmer is purple it makes the green jelly base look dark and kinda swampy. But then at other angles the shimmer is yellow and the whole manicure brightens up. You can see this change the best in the last two pictures. I'm still on the fence with this one. 🤔 Would you guys wear it? I'm not sure I'd be excited to reach for it again. This is Rainbows End from Potion Polish.

Today's polish is a gorgeous glowy red! 😍 It had an absolutely incredible formula. My pictures show it in two coats, but it was completely opaque in one coat. It reminded me a lot of Lady of Flame but that polish leans more orange and this one leans more pink. Very close, but not quite dupes. They both have that coke can kind of slightly metallic/slightly pearlescent finish. This was also part of a mystery trio. I normally don't get mystery polishes, but I'm glad I made an exception, because the whole trio is gorgeous. Looking forward to showing you all the other two. 😍 This is Rose Jam from Potion Polish.

Today's polish is such a gorgeous green. This was a mystery polish so again I don't have an official description. In the bottle, I thought it was a multichrome, maybe even a dupe for Approachable Asshole. But on my nails, I realized it was a shimmer of some kind. That being said, it's a stunning shimmer that looked amazing in all lighting. This is Pot 'O Gold from Potion Polish.

Today's polish is SO SPARKLY! ✨🤩✨ In the shade the teal jelly base is so dark it basically looks black. But when you step into the sun, the jelly base comes to life and the gold and copper holo microglitter sparkle like nothing else. I'm a sucker for holo microglitter in a jelly base, what can I say? 😂 This is Hemlock Wood from Potion Polish.

Today's polish is punch-you-in-the-eyeballs pink. In person it is even deeper and brighter if you can believe it. The second I got this on my nails I knew I was going to absolutely love it. I only wish @l0vegl0wsinthedark was here cause she needs this color on her nails immediately, never to be taken off. This is Dragon Fruit Smoothie from Potion Polish.
