Okay. Kai here; I know I made a post last month. I did manage to make it with help from family, but the situation has turned less than happy. I’m still in the process of finding a new job, but my current one, thanks to me having to call out for health reasons, has severely cut my hours. As in ‘even with paychecks and tips, I can’t make rent even if I paid none of my bills’ severely. And two others in the house have had health issues. Rent is due by the 3rd of August or we get a late fee. And if we don’t have rent in by the...5th iirc, our rental company will start the process of looking to evict us. That is something we cannot afford, considering one of us had to take out a loan just to get the money to get us this place...and Denver, lovely and wonderful as it has been, is not an easy place to find housing in, especially with evictions on record.

We’re honestly probably about US$1,000 short for rent, unless I can convince work to actually give me a paycheck in advance...then it’s only about 600 short.

I know people don’t like parting with their hard earned money, especially for someone who’s having as much trouble in the last several months as I’ve had, so I’m also going to be offering commissions. My spouse @yolandajulius will also be taking one commission. [Our examples will be under a read more at the end of this post.] Payment will need to be up-front due to the nature of the situation, and we will be slow; I’m still working, despite the cut hours, and I’m in the process of getting medications I desperately need again while Nova is working with their own health issues.

But we really need the help. If you want to simply help out, awesome. But if not, we have commissions, and I’m going to be streaming as well over the next few days. Money can be sent to Nova’s cash.me, or my PayPal.

Kai: If a design has a lot of complexity, I will talk to you about an upped price; it does add to the amount of time and detail that goes into your art. Masculine characters are not my forte, nor are muscular folks, but I will try! I can’t do NSFW, couples, or animals/furries/anthros, but I can do some animalistic traits [see miqo’te or viera or similar races]!

Nova: I will doodle furries but I'm not AMAZING. I'll be talking to you about overly complex affairs -- depending on the design the price may jump. Miqo'te and Viera add a minimum $10 because of the ears' positioning messing up my sad brainmeats, sorry! I will attempt VERY BASIC plate, but I require a large number of references for armor to get it right. Please be prepared to discuss your commissions if needed; I'm low vision and slow, so I'd prefer to keep things on the easier side.  I will NOT draw NSFW, sorry!
