We started off the day great but poor Matt broke a nipple right as we reached the first water stop so I helped him fix it before we headed back out. All of the groups stopped by the lake at a dock and Jaya and Jackie jumped in. The rest of us wanted to push ahead so Jackie decided to join in another group and the remaining four of us hit the road. We were cruising right along and making really good time! Lunch was supposed to be at a fire station but after waiting for 20 minutes we decided to keep moving and, of course, the food van caught up with us maybe 5 miles later. There was Chinese food!!! Yummm! This may not seem like a big deal but food on the 4K can get a little redundant (seriously, I cannot, 2 months later, eat Subway) and I love Chinese food! So I was thrilled and chowed before we prepared to leave.

We didn't run into other groups so we knew we were pretty far ahead and had a pretty uneventful ride the rest of the way into town. We were staying at the high school in Libby tonight and would have a dinner at a local church. My group showered and claimed some sleeping spots. I was able to snag the last mat and was so thrilled - the little things. The mat was darn comfy but as comfy as it was it was so warm in the building it almost made it worse so I dragged it to a stairwell where it was much cooler. 

I showered as slowly groups filtered in from their rides. Not long after, it was dinner and I was so excited. POTATO BAR. I didn't know this was a thing and I was stoked. For those who don't know me...potatoes are basically my favorite food or certainly top 5. It was awesome and I may have had seconds. Okay, okay I had thirds. The church members were so kind and quite amusing. The pastor was joined us at the tables and asked us fun and out of the ordinary questions like "who is the worst packer?"(BAILEY), "who has the most flats?" (J-MONEY), or "who is the hardest to wake-up?"(I don't remember...). It was a lot of fun but I was tired so Matt and I headed out a little early to walk back to the school. It was a little over a mile to walk back but it was so nice out and Matt is a wonderful conversationalist so it was nice.
