Alright now that im reading some dimeshipping/magica comics...
The way witches are described by magica herself is very "were evil" focused, being compared to a fairy is seen as an insult and a pretty big one from what I get

So that leads me back to thinking about samantha...she only uses her magic for neutral things or slightly petty stuff thats less evil and more chaotic PLUS-
When mickey calls her a fairy it's seen as a complement/doesn't get any negative reaction from her or her father
That leads me to belive samantha might be something like a "white sheep" of the family, we know her dad is a fuckass piece of shit bumass clip joint but prehaps he's trying to get her to be evil more gently? That or maybe he too is a "white sheep"? I know "I married a witch" wasnt expected to be compared to duckverse or magica or anything at all but but it is now since mickey does share the universe w them (partially-) and I miss samantha and need to post abt her asap
Also now looking back i do notice sam only ever uses her magic to do mean stuff to others rather than do good things for her & mickey [when there seen having fun theres no magic involved] so while it wasnt on my raydar before, i can't help but wonder if her magic was limited to only neutral & negative stuff and she just has to manipulate it alot to not wreck havoc
So many thoughts so many thoughts, but I guess we will never know what samantha can really do in the end...or we will have to make it up ourselves! >:]!
