I’ve taken Physics I. I’m taking Physics II this next semester. I actually started out as a physics major as a freshman, and both Physics I/II are required for my degree anyway.

But now I have to take the MCAT...

Nope, I decided that if I had to work, I didn’t want to spend the summer working in a hospital. Of course I enjoyed being a scribe, but I’ll have the rest of my life to worry about medicine. I just got a basic, part-time food service job that pays all right and will give me something to do, but I won’t feel too guilty about quitting once school starts. I’m also telling myself that the experience will be good for me. I’ve never worked in food service before, and I’ve heard that it’s something everyone should experience at least once. We’ll see how it goes!

Nope! That’s the great thing about my program. I’ll just be a TA for the classes I’ve already taken next year, which means I will have completed a little less than half of my first year before it even officially begins! If I chose to go to a different med school though, I would have to start from the beginning like everyone else. But since I only have the one acceptance, I don’t have to worry about starting over.

I don't think I can! That was by far my most intense/awesome patient encounter. I'm not sure anything will top that for a long time!
