The amount of times I've seen this poster and thought it was another Thelma and Louise but nope. Apparently Carrie Fisher wrote this and used her life in a fictional way. A story of a young female star recovering from addiction, she's forced back to her mother; a woman whose well known star. The movie flies by pretty quick. Some of the references used throughout the movie did fly over my head, I feel like I'm a little too young to understand those. The camera angles are certainly interesting, I think it helps that the camera is forced into confined spaces due to the location used. It's basically a movie with a movie and I like these kinda movies especially if there done right. Also, it was very fun playing spot the actor. I recognised a lot while a few had their names on the tip of my tongue. I like how they show the dysfunction between mother/daughter, regardless of being famous or not, a lot of mother/daughters would be able to relate to that. It's nice that the film ends on a happy note after all that because it would've been a kicker of an ending if they let Suzanna die. #postcardsfromtheedge https://www.instagram.com/p/CW5ZfaJvGwG/?utm_medium=tumblr
