Some of us like to optimistically believe that we indeed live a post-racial America. And even some of us negroes, whom Brother Carter G. Woodson might document as "mis-educated", also like to buy into the notion that America has indeed ceased to judge a man by his race. Now while I'm sure things aren't AS BAD as they were a decade ago, or so on, things are still bad. But many of my people and fellow minorities don't understand the systematic oppression and how it's applied, but hopefully the link provided here can help you better understand.
