Well feel free to drop by my latest fic which will be serving all of that and more! A post frontiers fic that focuses on the fallout of what is a mystery to Sonic and Shadow's friends, I am going to be leaning into all the drama opportunities!

It has been a year since he last saw him.

And for Shadow (as well as Sonic) it would be too soon if it lasted the rest of their lives. However after a G.U.N mission forces Shadow into an impasse in which he is forced to work with the other hedgehog, the two find themselves in a predicament. One they cannot speed their way out of.

How will the unresolved tensions manifest after being literally trapped in the shoes of the one you resent the most? It's certainly something Sonic and Shadow are learning how to deal with, that's for sure.

They do!! This is an accurate title, and I should keep it this way.

This fic is set right after Sonic Frontiers! It's going to cover the time where Tails goes on his own and how the brothers deal with it. I'm so excited for this fic, but it's crucial that I finish writing my Sonic Forces rewrite first. A lot of things happen throughout Forces and Frontiers that need fleshing out in order for certain story beats to make sense, especially on Sonic's end.

Tails has to learn that growing up doesn't mean doing everything on your own, but knowing when it's okay to rely on other people's strengths. Sonic's story arc is a little trickier. I'm worried about how in-character it will feel because he's gonna have to do some self-reflection and it doesn't go well, lol, but I'm really looking forward to letting him spiral for a change.

I don't have much to share out of context for this one... a lot of it relies on things I haven't posted yet. But I will share this one piece of dialogue because I think it's hilarious.

“That’s it!” Sonic growled, ripping a piece of paper from seemingly out of nowhere, along with a pencil, and scrubbed the eraser over it furiously. “You’re off the circle of support!” Shadow stared at him dumbfounded. “I don’t even know what that is.”
