In my defense, I wasn’t expecting that post-cog AU to be dark either. It just kinda happened :D

As for other people’s powers, those make SO much sense. That’s how Tadashi managed to fill Baymax with all this medical information when it should have taken him YEARS to just learn it himself, let alone code it. And that’s why Aunt Cass’ cafe is so popular. She just knows how you’re feeling without you ever having to tell her, and she always has a cookie for you when you need it.

Oh gosh, this is one of the coolest powers and honestly I don’t think people do enough with this because come on. THINK OF THE POSSIBILITIES, especially if his post-cog powers aren’t limited to human contact.

Imagine, after the fire, Hiro sneaks into the wreckage to search for some sign of Tadashi. He’s grieving, and he’s not thinking clearly, but he wants some form of closure, and he thinks maybe if he can see Tadashi’s final moments he’ll get that. But he learns so much more when his hands brush the twisted and melted metal that is all that remains of the showcase hall.

Think of how fast the plot of the movie would accelerate if Hiro knew exactly what had happened days afterward. He wouldn’t be able to go to the police, because then he’d have to reveal his powers, so he’d instantly be looking into ways to get revenge on his own. Maybe he ends up back in the darker parts of San Fransokyo, because he knows a few people from bot fighting who are willing to do anything for the right incentive. And what better to use his powers for than blackmail material?

Three days after the fire, Yama is ordering his Fujitas to do anything Hiro tells them, and when questioned he refuses to meet anyone’s eyes. The Fujitas learn to fear Hiro just as much as they respect him, and they are quick to do his bidding.

Imagine a much darker Hiro with the power to know your deepest, darkest secrets with the single brush of skin on skin, surrounded by the lovely but deadly Fujitas, ready to get revenge for his fallen brother.
