I get the feeling there are a lot of you that are really just waiting for me to start posting content focused on Awakening. Well, thatâs coming eventually, largely through evaluations of second-tier classes which are starting soon.
Speaking of classes, the existing pages will be revised over the next few days to increase their relevance to Awakening. Â The new format will likely be as follows (additions in bold):
General evaluation and tactics
Suggested Affinity-Based Supports
This will account for the addition of many skills in Awakening and allow readers to get a more accurate idea of what a unit's strengths are, as well as what they provide to others on the battlefield in lieu of affinity-based supports.  General evaluations will not change, or at least not much, and obviously, units not present in Awakening will not feature these additions.  Promoted class pages will likely also refer to what they promote from and which root class-promoted class paths are typically preferred wherever the option is given.  Not sure if that will be placed in the initial information or general comments yet, but it's a move I'm making to be even more comprehensive.
Two reminders: First, I am not trying to become a wiki.  Stats, data, map information, etc., can already be found on fireemblem.wikia.com or serenesforest.net, so reproducing that information here is unnecessary.  Rather, I'm trying to push into the areas where raw data cannot help. Second, I will not consider Awakening within my full range of expertise until I come home from uni and finish my Lunatic playthrough.  Bear with me until then if you're waiting on map strategies or other information (or keep hammering at it until you get it).  I may actually provide a play-by-play (but not a Let's Play, that's outside my comfort zone), but I haven't decided yet because the amount of free time I'll have depends on my summer work schedule.
Edit: Already done with the post updates. Â Took much less time than expected.
