Brandy hardly remembers anything of the camping trip. She was told it’d be peaceful, but she’s had a headache ever since.
It’s been hard focusing on her studies. She’s already been crammed, but now everything just feels so much more heavy.
She was going to take a break to train a little. She’s not in any sports teams, she just feels a lot safer if she knows she’s in decent shape and strong enough to help if anything were to happen. Even if her muscles make her feel dysphoric; she knows she’ll never feel welcome in her own body anyways.
She was almost there, just blankly staring in front of herself, when she suddenly heard a scream from the gym.
And Brandy’s the type of self sacrificing dumbass to instinctively run TOWARDS a scream instead of away from it.
Hello Ralfio
I gave you a jar of papercranes but I would like to know your actual favourite animal because cranes is very basic and it's more fun to give people their favourite animals
@paperfoldingfan
“Oh, th- thank you! The cranes are very pretty.”
“I’ve always loved foxes. Specifically red foxes.”
“… I just think they’re silly. I like them.”
It's not much, but you seemed to not hate them back in the crypt.
[Gives him a bag of the caramells who fun fact! Are called Marianne]
I will try to visit you once I have more time, child.
@goyensanga
He’s not really sure how much he’s allowed to be eating, especially with any damage to his intestines. But… well, those were good candies.
“Oh, … thank you. I- I did like them.”
He, of course, shares some with Milo too.
I know you're busy, uhm, recovering. I really hope that goes well for you. But I just wanted to say I like your sense of fashion. And it's not 1000 so they don't count I suppose but, here anyways
[A jar filled with tiny folded paper cranes]
@paperfoldingfan
He may not understand much of the significance, but he was touched regardless. And he thinks the jar is pretty. He shakes it a couple times, just to hear them clink around.
“… Thank you.”

Captain: This toss is easy! You practically use no force at all!
Me: *Feels confident about the toss and tries it*
Me: *gets hit in the head by the toss*
Jesus take the wheel
Today, Sylvie and I snuck out of camp.
Trails wasn't letting anyone leave because we were all contractually obligated to stay until all cleaning was done, but several people were nearly demanding to leave (even though our contract ends TOMORROW and yall shouldn't have made plans today).
I had an eight hour drive home, and Sylvie was carpooling with me. At 12:30, Trails straight up told us to NOT SAY GOODBYE TO ANYONE and sneak out (after we mopped one more thing), because we had busted our asses cleaning and we deserved to go.
Sorry to the few other people who also busted their asses and went home way later than us. (Most of you still made it home before I did.) And sorry to everyone who we weren't allowed to hug or communicate to before we left - Sylvie kept freaking out about how mad Goggs was going to be at us for not saying goodbye.
...And then Sylvie accidentally led me on a really long, dumb way to get to Tri Cities and that wasn't so great. But I learned that my Subaru can go 200 miles on the highway on half a tank. And her dad bought me Arby's. And I still made it home by 9:30.
