Taking down the patriarchy one sexist asshole at a time. It’s the start of a new semester and the princess is making her way back to school after a much deserved break (that honestly was not long enough  — let her rest !!). 

My best friend in the whole wide world continues to work her ass off no matter what is thrown her way. 2017 was an insane year. It put us through hell, it honestly was the ultimate test, and we passed it, rising from the flames together.

you’re my sunshine, my sweet pea, my peaches. babygirl, you are the best person i have ever met. not only a sister, but a person who chooses me day, after day, after day, even if i’m annoying, or sassy, or i just won’t shut up no matter how many times you restart the song. 

you are an amazing woman. you are so goddamn smart, and if someone underestimates you, then they can live to regret it while you live your best life.

listen to me. believe in yourself. no matter how hard it gets, just know that you have overcome every struggle you have ever faced. you have survived, and thrived despite the pain, hardships, and whatever else has been thrown at you. whatever struggles you are currently going through, i’m sure one day you will triumph, and until then i’ll be right her to back you up and help you through it. 

i will be here, whenever you need me, as a sister, a shoulder to cry on, and someone who will review every paper and bitch about professors that i have never met. 

i am so truly proud of you brandy katelyn. to know what you have been through and to see who you have become is astonishing. knowing the beautiful woman that you are is the biggest blessing i could ever have, and being gifted with your love and friendship is something so magical that the words ‘thank you’ will never be enough. 

you are going to do amazing this semester. fingers crossed that your work comes easy, you don’t have too much stress, and you pass with flying colors (i’m sure you will). don’t forget that you can come to me for every little thing, no matter how small, whether it’s related to school or not. i love you with all my heart college girl. keep on kicking ass !!
